About the Event
Register for our virtual event at August 5th at 2 PM EST on Mental Health, Organizational Culture, and Compassion with guest Organizational Psychologist, CEO, and Stanford and University of Michigan Professor Dr. Monica Worline.
Dr. Worline will address the impact of the pandemic on employee well-being and offer a research-based view of the role of compassion in supporting adaptability to change, enabling a resilient economic foundation for organizations, and fostering cultures that support workplace mental health from the ground up.
Dr. Worline is an organizational psychologist who has been investigating and writing about compassion in the workplace for over 20 years. She is the co-author of Awakening Compassion at Work, a first-of-its-kind book to bring the science of compassion at work into practical focus. She is a core faculty contributor at the University of Michigan’s Center for Positive Organizations and a research scientist at Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education where she helped to edit the first ever Oxford Handbook of Compassion Science.
